**Saturday Spotlight** The Perfect Shoot by Lea Bronsen

Good morning, Gray here, I am back today with Lea Bronsen, who stopped by to answer a few questions.

What are you working on at the minute?
The sequel to The Perfect Shoot, called Mine to Love. As long as lovebirds Andrea and Yushka continue to talk to me, I’ll put out book after book in their series.

What books/authors have influenced your writing?
Without a doubt, authors Cody McFadyen and Mo Hayder. I’ve read their respective thrillers Shadow Man and Birdman so many times I’ve lost count! Another memorable read is The Good Guy by Dean Koontz.

What genre do you consider your book(s)?
After a few years of testing the waters, I’ve come to the conclusion that I write two distinct genres, erotic romance and psychological thriller. I love both equally and constantly ping-pong from one to the other, although they offer very different writing challenges.

Do you ever experience writers block?
Yes, of course, but I’ll always find something author-related to do. The list is endless!
Do you set out an outline before you write a book??
Sometimes I’ll have a strict chapter-by-chapter outline (which was the case with The Perfect Shoot), and other times I’ll go wherever my imagination takes me. But I usually have a pretty good idea of the overall plot.

Have you ever hated something you have written?

Not that I can recall, no. I stand by everything I’ve created, from the most shocking, grotesque horror scenes in my WIP thriller Carnivora to the sweet, sappy, oh-so-romantic stuff I sometimes find myself writing, lol.

Spitfire section. What do you think of when I say these words.

Black – Soul

Whips – Evernight book covers *grins*

Toys – Again, a few kinky Evernight covers come to mind :P

Pain – Endorphins

Grass – Camping (yeah, I’m a normal person, too)

Sand – Soft heat enveloping my feet

Favorite color – Black

Favorite scent – Musk (I’m not being rude now, am I?)

Favorite food – Hmm, tough one. Tandoori and curry, I think.

Favorite song – Also a very difficult question. It’ll have to be an early 70s’ KISS song. “Makin’ Love”, or “I want you”, “Room Service”, “Take Me”, “Calling Dr. Love”, to name a few… heh, there’s the influence for my erotic romance!

A book recommendation for this month – A Fighter’s Choice by Sam Crescent. After interviewing her characters, I sent that book to the top of my to-read list.

What you look forward to this month – The release of my erotica High-Risk Fever!

The Perfect Shoot Blurb:

When Andrea Johnson, writing as author Cindy Vega, signed up for a Meet & Greet with the cover model of her latest book, she didn’t expect sparks to fly. Yushka is dangerously good-looking and too young for her. But their connection is instantaneous, and during a photo shoot with the two, the photographer picks up on their growing attraction. Seeing the potential for the cover photo of the century, he decides to push their comfort limits...
