Now that Dante is home, his family has nothing but questions about his disappearance. But being tortured and forced to do things against his will, has Dante feeling like he cannot share the hell he lived in with anyone. His Grandpa, and cousins want nothing more than to help him, but Dante wants to forget and learn about the vampire-way-of-life he has missed. Erin wants nothing more than to be with Dante. Something so strong pulls her to him, but Dante won’t let it happen. When strange things start happening around her, her brother starts asking questions, to which Erin cannot answer.
“I’d never have what I needed, what I desired more than life itself. I’d never have Erin. I had to protect her, at all costs, from whoever had been feeding on her. I also had to protect her from me.”
Is there something dark lurking in the shadows of Erin and Dante’s lives? Their friends and families sense something is off, but can Erin and Dante see past their lust to protect themselves and each other?
