Brooke is in Paris, fulfilling her late grandmother's dying wish. She works her way through a prewritten bucket list, despite it only being the day after the funeral.
Leaving behind a world of fresh pain and a barrel full of secrets, Brooke seizes the bull by its horns and throws herself into Paris life... She visits museums, gardens and coffee shops and begins to understand very quickly why her grandmother, Millie, loved the place so much.
Number twenty on her list of things to do is to fall in love... Cue Dylan... Attracting Brooke's attention on the Metro, the sexy Englishman writes his number on her palm in permanent marker, hoping that she will call...
Saying much more than this will ruin the momentum of this awesome love story. It needs to be read without spoilers in order to discover the beauty of the relationships first hand.
This book is HOT and urgent lust and need between the two lovers is palpable.
The book is faultless. Effortlessly written with easy, natural dialogue and belly-laugh-inducing witty banter, this book smothered me. Believable, 3D characters whom you will want to meet and hang out with in real life, will drag you into their world of love, laughter and music.
It is a story filled with loss, longing and desperation in all senses of the words, and I believe you won't be able to put it down.
And, if you don't fall in love in this book, whether with Paris or someone you meet, then your heart is stone.
