Let us recap on Bare Naked Word’s reactions to Ms Mabie’s Wake Series:
Bait – “So much happened in Bait, it wasn’t just a rollercoaster ride, it was the Millenium Force of rollercoaster rides, the Fury 325 of emotional wreckage, that left every single unsuspecting reader gutted and baying for the authors blood.”
“We all needed therapy, a group where we could vent and share our pain. Take the Bait Group was just the place to hide out with equally traumatized ladies.”
“Holy Mother of all things Faaaaackkkkkk, this book is about as close to causing a train wreck in my heart as the Thoughtless Series was, and for anyone who knows my total adoration for that series I do not say it lightly.”
Sail – “Sail, is our salvation from the pain, Casey & Blake must be together, they just must. I’m not arguing about this, don’t mess with me Mo, make it happen!”
Anchor – oh where, oh where shall I begin. Thank you, Thank you Mo Mabie for the perfect end to this unique series.
Those of us that had taken the Wake Series journey needed a HEA, no scrap that we deserved a HEA. We had earnt a HEA.

Anchor brought Casey and Blake’s story to a close, it gave me everything I wanted for them and more than I could have hoped for.
What inspired Ms Mabie to write this series I don’t know but thank the lord she did. Her writing style is unique, you won’t be able to compare it to another author’s style because there is no author out there doing what Mo does.
She has totally wowed us all and as we continue to recommend this book to our friends we do so with a disclaimer “this is gonna hurt, but stick with it, because it is so worth it”
