Pointe of Passion
I just finished A Dancer’s Desire Series by Annalie Walker, and I was pleasantly surprised. This
series consists of three books and one novella. As each other the books progressed, Annalie
took me into a world filled with dance, beauty and love. It’s always a plus getting to read a
series back to back, but what I really love is seeing how the story progresses and how the
author’s writing strengthens. This is what I saw when I read the four books. Annalie’s writing
got stronger and stronger with each of the books!
“I would see the hurt in his eyes, but I couldn’t tell him the real reason why I didn’t want him
touching me. I couldn’t tell anyone that secret. The only person that knew what I was hiding
was Michael and this is because he saved me from the unthinkable.”
Rhythm and Rapture
Things happen for a reason. Even if those things seem like the worst moments in your life, in
the end, they were meant to happen. This is what we learn when we meet Mia, Jade and
Olivia. Three best friends, each with their own story about their past struggles and their hopes
for the future. Annalie does an amazing job at keeping each character involved in each
story...another thing that I love!! The stories that each character tells, almost in a journal format,
range from heart breaking, to nail biting, to moments of happiness. No emotion is left unturned.
The men in these books...ooo la la! Well, they bring a level of hotness. Jaxson, Aidan, Cooper,
Drake....they are knights in shining armour for our leading ladies. I won’t say anymore, as I
don’t want to give away anything, smouldering detail!!

Enticing Encore
I think A Dancer’s Desire series is a worthy read. With the love, sadness, suspense,
happiness...the books have everything you could ask for! Even though some moments in the
stories seemed rushed, the books were very well written and really hold your attention. (Book
two, Rhythm and Rapture was my fav!!) I highly recommend this series, and I will definitely be
checking out more books by Annalie Walker!

Annalie Walker was born and raised in Louisiana. She is the wife to a sometimes home, sometimes not airline pilot husband and the mother of two fabulous children. If she is not at the soccer field with one, you can find her in the dance studio with the other. Of the two, she is most comfortable in the dance studio since she also grew up there.
She spends her days in the pharmacy, her evenings carpooling kids and her
nights lost in a good book. She has always had a passion for reading a good
love story, but has just recently discovered the joy in writing. She likes her
