**Blog Tour** Temper for You by Genna Rulon

Temper For You
For You Series, book #3
By Genna Rulon

"Life is messy. Love is messier." -Catch and Release

Meg Adeio has led a life of isolation—not by choice, by necessity—until one act of heroism forces her out of seclusion. Despite a past shrouded in mystery, Meg is “adopted” by an eclectic group of friends that become the family she never had. Life was good for the first time in…ever.

Or it was until Westly Black reappeared on her doorstep. She knew he was the last man any woman should give her time to—only good for one thing—yet a temptation no woman could deny. Wes might make her life messy, but Meg’s eyes were wide open and she had it under control. At least she thought she did.

When past and present collide, loyalties are tested, forcing Meg to sacrifice her future to protect those she loves.

Temper For You is a gripping story of regret, deception, and redemption – filled with raw emotion, sarcastic wit, intrigue, and love’s propensity to forgive.

• Though Temper For You is a part of the For You Series, it can be read as a stand alone
• This story is appropriate for readers 18+

Nicola's 5 Bare Naked Stars ***** Review

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing!!!

“She was a mystery, wrapped in challenge and ribboned with secrets.
She was the Rubik’s Cube I was going to solve.”

Genna has done it again. She has exceeded my expectations and delivered an absolutely phenomenal book. I have become hooked; the characters, the writing. Just everything out these books draws you in and keeps you in its grasp.  You fall more in love with each character after every book and ‘Temper For You’ is no different.

Meg has lived the past seven years shrouded in half-truths, secrets and isolation, until an incident which resulted in her being adopted in to the close friendship/family of Huntleigh and GriffLo. Finally for the first time in her life she is surrounded with love, friendship and family. She is happy.

Until her dark and gritty past catches up with her. Adamant not to let the people she has come to love be caught up in the crossfire and become ‘contaminated’, Meg needs to decide what to do.
Does she run to protect her family, or does she stay and fight for the freedom she so desperately wants?

Before there could be no question to what she would’ve done, but now there’s people that she loves, and a certain man who she can’t seem to forget. Westly ‘Wes’ Black.

Wes always gets what he wants, at whatever cost and what or who he wants is Meg spread beneath him in bed. To begin with we only know one side of Wes…the ‘douchebag lawyer’ who represented the man behind the Hensley Assaults and murders.

However, as the story progresses you start to see him in a different light. He starts to let down his guard and show that he is not the person you are led to believe. It’s just a façade.

“He was the antithesis of every man I’d ever met- good or bad. A rare breed that was content to play the antihero while hiding a river of nobility so pure it cleansed his soul of the filth that surrounded him.”

Wes and Meg are a perfect match for each other. They have a connection, but both are not interested in have a relationship. All they want is sex, with no strings.
“There are two areas I excel, the law and sex—and when I say I excel, I mean I’m a fucking god. You will forget your own name because all you’ll be able to do is scream mine…over and over again. You want no-strings, mind-blowing sex? There is no one better qualified.”
However, the more time they spend with each other, the more their feelings grow.
Wes starts to open up and shows Meg the true man behind the mask. And in turn finds himself falling in love. But Meg is still closely guarded and Wes has to fight tooth and nail to break down her barriers and uncover her secrets, as well as trying to convince her to let him into her heart as well.
But at the end of the day the questions still remain.
Will Wes uncover the truth? Or will Meg’s past prove to be too much and drive them apart?

“I am an apple and you are the water. I’m covered in filth and you are an expert filth remover. You cleaned me until I could finally see what was hidden beneath the layers of lies and manipulation. You, Westly Black, are my essential element—the water o need to survive and thrive.”

My heart broke for Wes and Meg. The trials and tribulations that they faced, you wouldn’t wish it on any one. I cringed at what Meg had to endure and had tears spring to my eyes. She was selfless and stupid but I can totally understand her reasons for doing what she done. I would’ve done the same thing. But the support she had surrounding her, truly shows how much she was loved, and if I was one of her friends, I would’ve totally kicked her ass.

I seriously cannot express my utmost love for this book, this series and this author. Genna’s writing is absolutely fantastic and faultless. The characters that she has introduced us to are amazing, and their relationship with each other is something that you would want for yourself. They’re hilarious, and so full of love and protectiveness. They rally around each other and become a force to be reckoned with when shit hits the fan. They take a place in your heart and will stay with you, always.

Thank you. Genna. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You seriously need to read ‘Temper For You’ and the rest of the books in the series. I guarantee you will fall in love with them just as much.
I cannot wait for book 4 to come and the spin-off series that is to come as well. I may have squealed a bit.

I Do Not want this series to end!!!

     Son of a bitch!
I marched back to my house, dodging furniture and movers along the way, not stopping until I reached my home office where my cell phone and solitude were located.
     Son. Of. A. Bitch!
I swore if I ever saw her again I would either:  a) pretend I didn’t know her, or b) coax her into my bed.  Nothing in either plan dictated cursing at her; it was an inexcusable fumble.  Dammit!  The only good news was that my father wasn’t alive to hear me confess my crimes.  He would have ripped me a new one for talking to a lady that way, even if the description had been accurate—which unfortunately, it was not.  Therefore, I couldn’t even comfort myself with the knowledge that I simply verbalized the truth because Meg was a lot of things, but she was definitely not a bitch.
Meg…when she opened the door, it knocked the wind out of me.  I’d convinced myself—after she unceremoniously kicked me to the curb in the middle of the coffee shop—that my memories were idealized after nine months fantasizing about her.  Nope.  She was even more stunning than I remembered, and every part of me responded to the sight of her.  My brain stalled, deprived of oxygen, as all of the blood in my body detoured southward.  And while some parts appeared to be stupefied into complete stillness—such as my mouth, which seemed unable to form words—another part of me was rising to the occasion and begging for attention.  Yes, Little West was pointing due north.
