**Review** Kissing by Ellie Brixton

The good girl found the bad boy, but couldn't forget about the one she left behind.

I was always the good girl.
Then when the pressure became too much, I took off and found me a bad boy.
Niko. The hot, British rock star and frontman of the Halos.
He took my angel wings and gave me a lot of things, well, everything but the Big O.
And fidelity.
So with my #fail in hand, I did the worst thing imaginable.
I went home. The insta-nagging, criticism, and impossible expectations reminded me why my life #sucked—the reason I left in the first place.
Well, everything was the same except for JQ, my high school crush. With a snug T-shirt and jeans that fit in all of the right places, it looks like he became man and maybe it was time for me to become a woman.
#Kissing is a sexy, rock star romance for new adult, college, and contemporary romance readers who enjoy love stories with an HEA.
Author's note: #KISSING is a full-length, standalone novel. Due to strong language and content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Ellie Brixton is a unicorn by day and an author by night. She's a firm believer in eating dessert first and fancies herself a cookie connoisseur. Although she runs every day, she wishes for a 1959 Cadillac convertible, in pink of course. This is her first novel.

Tara's 5**** Bare Naked Stars Review

"If kisses are like stars or planets colliding, we're as bright and as fast as an asteroid."

I don't even know if I have the right words to describe this book! #awesome..#moving...#raw...#must-read!
This book did a number on my heart!  Ellie takes us into a world where fantasy can only survive for so long, before reality comes back with a vengeance.

"The notes ring out and all at once, our thoughts drown, worries hang on nooses made of nylon strings, and drumsticks impale the haunting doubts of insecurity."

Josie needed an escape from life. Leaving her world and her one true love behind, Josie falls in to the fantasy world of rock and roll. Week long parties, constant state of not knowing, she uses alcohol and sexy Niko to occupy her heart, but stunning blue eyes always break through her lost mind.
JQ lost part of his heart the day she left. Seeing and reading about her newest screw ups, JQ cannot get Josie out of his head. A serendipitous run-in opens up the doors to reality for both JQ and Josie.
How do you overcome heartache and hurt feelings, and realize it's time to accept your life for what it is, and what it can be?

"Little does he know, the one who was the greatest threat, just walked away hardly acknowledging me. I don't close my eyes, afraid to lose him in the crowd, as the subway pulls away. Just before he disappears behind a tiled wall, he glances back, his expression, shattered into a thousand pieces. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to let him go."

Seriously, I cannot say enough about #Kissing and Ellie Brixton. From her flawless writing, and the beautiful flow this story has, I couldn't stop reading. It made me laugh, cringe and cry!  Kudos to Ellie for your first book!  It's AMAZING!!!!

"Maybe it's good to shake things up, to let life rock you so hard you no longer know which way is up or who you are. Maybe that's what it takes to forge a new kind self, an updated version, even stronger and more solid than before."
