Synopsis
As teenagers, Lindsay and Grady found a love together that few people are lucky enough to ever experience.
When Lindsay Ross decided to visit her aunt for the summer in a small lake town in New York, she didn’t expect anything other than an escape from her demanding parents. She certainly didn’t expect Grady Hawke. At the end of the summer, Lindsay and Grady made plans for their future and vowed to be together forever. Back in New York City, events beyond her control forced Lindsay to turn her back on Grady and their love.
Grady has spent the last five years trying to forget the one girl who broke his heart. But when Lindsay arrives back in town unannounced, will Grady get to know the woman she has become and find out the real reason she left him all those years ago? Or will he push her away for good?

About the Author: I am an author of new adult and contemporary romance novels. My husband and I live in Columbus, Ohio with our two young daughters and happy golden retriever. When I’m not spending time with my family, I can be found doing one of my other favorite activities - writing, reading and napping.
My Review:
Lindsay Ross had her life all mapped
out however it is not going to plan and she finds herself in somewhat of a
mess. So she decides to move to the
countryside on Penn Yann, New York and live with her Aunt Lana.
Now this might seem a sensible thing to
do by Penn Yann holds a shed load of memories Lindsay for this is where Grady
Hawke her one true love lives . They met in high school, fell in love and
planned a future together. Then suddenly
Lindsay breaks up with Grady, no reason given and it is this secret that we
learn later in the book.
So it’s been 5 years and Lindsay
returns and to say Grady is furious is an understatement and he behaves atrociously
towards her. He is trying to mask his deep hurt and pain, but he still loves
her. Always has and always will. But boy
was he mean to her, it made me really mad with him, but also sorry for him too.
Reading from both POVs made the heartache all the more real.
When the truth comes out can they be together? I won’t spoil it for you, but the end was perfect.
A great story that had a little of
everything a good contemporary romance should.
