What a Six months it has been.........

In July this year I embarked on a journey that I thought would merely enhance my love of reading, oh and I had a few hours a week to spare, so why not put them to good use. Right?

I had no freakin idea what I was about to undertake!  But here we are 6 months later, a little older and a teensy bit wiser, and with over 280 posts on the blog under our belts and over 16,500 hits.
Along the way I have met, if only virtually, some of the most amazing people whose love of all things books is equal to my own.

To the bloggers I say, my God, I had no idea how hard you guys work, but I do now. The advice and support I have received as I set out on this adventure has been invaluable. Tabby at IMR Reviews, Kylie at Give Me Books, the fabulous girls over at AKA The Book Harlots Reviews, Elizabeth at The Novel Tease and many, many, many more that I have worked alongside this year.  I have learnt so much from you all.

Readers thank you so much for supporting what BNW do, you have shown your love in the form of over 2,500 likes on Facebook, 1600 followers on Twitter and numerous emails, DM’s and comments on our page.  We have some of the best Twitter followers who are just bloody hysterical, you know who you are and please keep up with those tweets that make me laugh out loud, snort and spit coffee out every single day. I’ll leave you with that rather attractive image!

Authors, what can I say, without you there wouldn’t be a blog, I wanted to give something back to you all for the awesome books you have given to us.  For the characters you have left etched on my brain, for the sleepless nights when the characters continue to talk in my head and for chatting with me when I needed to vent, cry & laugh with you over your books.  A special mention goes to Kahlen Aymes, Jen Sterling, Stephanie Witter, M.R. Joseph, Rachel Brookes, Courtney Cross, Madeline Sheehan, Jodi Ellen Malpas, Pepper Winters, Katy Evans, Tiffany Reisz, Katie Ashley, Chelle Bliss, SC Ellington, Syndra K Shaw, Stephanie Witter, Jacquelyn Ayes, Karli Perrin, SC Stephens, Olivia Cunning and Michelle Leighton to name just of few of those that gave BNW a chance and let me fangirl over them. To those that have invited me to Beta read for you it’s been a privilege. I admire what you do and I do try really hard not to stalk you too much ;-) And I really appreciate you humouring me and the messages I send you.

Wonderland – I have no words to tell you how awesome you all are, but what I can say is this, Ethan, Joel, Max and Dean, WuWu fancies the pants off you all equally ;-) Moffy, Paris & Andi little did I know what an amazing friendship would be forged over a few late night tweets and dubious discussions. Your continued support, words of wisdom and funny as f**k DM’s make me adore you all the more. Quite simply without the Wonderland crew I wouldn’t be doing this. I will never ever forget what you have done for me & thank you for welcoming me into your Wonderland family x

Wonderland week was a blast and probably the hardest I’ve ever worked in my entire life (thanks MuMu) , and I don’t think I have ever before witnessed what happened on the TL last night, I am so proud of you all.

And last but certainly not least, the team that makes BNW what it is today.  When I sent out a message for help, I had no idea that I would be blessed with the best team ever.  Claire you are my wingman, the voice of reason & my blog twin, I could not continue to do this without you.  And you literally make me cry laughing every single flipping day.  You give the best Kik ever!

Nicola and Tammy, our very talented reviewers, we are very lucky to have you and Sue our Creative Director the supplier of all things pretty. Ladies you work so hard for BNW and are seriously underpaid for the privilege ;-)

And one last mahoosive thank you goes to The Biker (my husband) who has never once complained even when BNW and my many book boyfriends were getting far more attention than he was.  You are my everything and you make me think naughty thoughts everyday ;-)

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Here’s to 2014 and I hope we get to meet some of you in Edinburgh.
