Wendy's 5 Bare Naked Star Review
Sexy Ass, dirty mouthed Bikers, MC Club, duel POV, I am in
heaven, a Shadow induced HEAVEN!
I am also in shock, a Ms Forgy cliff hanger induced shock!
What a debut novel, congratulations, you have a new fan J
It is well known that I am a total sucker for a Biker book,
club whores and all.
Dani is not a club whore, far from it. She is the President’s daughter and Shadow
should not, I repeat, should not be dabbling with her, but that is easier said
than done.
Dani, came off kinda a little annoying to start with, but
she’s young, naïve and I can cut her some slack.
Shadow, has been living this life a long time, and falling
for the President’s daughter was not on his to do list, nor should it have
been.
But once these two get together, holy hell, someone fetch me
an ice cold drink.
This book told a gritty, no holds barred story of the MC
Club lifestyle, the good, the bad and the ugly, and I was completely engrossed.
Now I don’t mind a cliff hanger, yes I get mad, but then if I
didn’t get mad it would mean I couldn’t give two hoots if the next book comes
out or not, and I most definitely give a hoot about this one.
And there is not too long to wait, as The
Scars That Define Us (The Devil's Dust #2) releases on 31st October.
I’m living in hope that Dani’s mother gets what’s coming to
her. Who’s with me?

Synopsis:
The Devil's Dust MC has a list of new threats to the club's lifestyle. Dani, to prove her loyalty, is trying to embrace a part of herself that she never knew existed until now. A sinful beast lurking beneath her surface has been awakened and is ready to eliminate anyone that stands in its way. Looking at her stained hands, she rinses the blood from them. She resigns herself to innocence lost and welcomes her thirst for more blood.
After a breathtaking turn of events, Shadow is looking at life in a different perspective. Not knowing who he can trust or who he can forgive has left him feeling desolate and alone. As Shadow is laying behind his rifle, he wonders if he can pull the trigger to eliminate the threat. He takes a deep breath and squeezes the trigger, the rifle recoil ignites the fuel that drives him.
Retaliations will be required.
Boundaries will be shattered.
Redemption will be lost.
Betrayal so deep, yet they still yearn for one another. Can Shadow overlook Dani’s transgressions? Can Dani overlook the mistrust that Shadow has placed upon her?
