Things are heating up in A.J. Pryor’s seductive new novel, The Perfect Wave.

Jessica Baker, the twenty-six-year-old daughter of a Texas oil tycoon, likes to have the upper hand. She enjoys the freedom that comes with wealth and sails through life on her terms.

Until the day she meets Roan Anders: sexy surfer, extreme sports agent, and verifiable playboy.

He is the one man who has the power to anchor her heart or break it wide open.

Both try to deny the intense chemistry flowing between them and embark on a friendship that is destined to get complicated. Lust and desire ignite their feelings from a slow burn into a raging fire, and what started out as platonic, quickly flares into something impossible to contain.

Jessica soon learns that being born into a life of luxury can’t protect her from heartache when a woman from Roan’s past surfaces with allegations that turn Jessica's world upside down.

Is Roan capable of commitment? Will Jessica’s family accept the man she’s chosen? Can their love survive the rocky waters they’ve suddenly encountered? Find out in this sexy and emotional story that explores how one’s past can change the course of one’s life forever.

Tammy's 5 Bare Naked Stars ***** Review

I really enjoyed The Perfect Wave.  A perfect combination of love, friendship, and second chances.

Roan was a sexy surfer and sports agent.  Boy was he sexy! Every girl wanted him. But his broken family turned him off from marriage.

Jessica is the girl next door but comes from Texas oil tycoon money.  They have always tried to control her so she moved out to California to escape them.  She wanted to make her own choices and live her life by her rules.

Jessica and Roan met when their best friends started dating and became engaged.  There was always sexual tension between them both.  But they were too afraid of messing up their friendship.  Then after a lot hurt and time they decided to give it a try.

Jessica was very concerned because of Roan’s playboy ways.  Could he be tamed and be with only her? Was he ready for fall in love with her and be her once in a lifetime?
Roan’s ugly past came back to haunt him.  Will Jessica be able to forgive him and move forward as a couple or will she end it for good?

I felt the dual viewpoints really helped me understand what they each were thinking and feeling.  It really added to the story and made me fall even in more love with them both.

“You are my personal sunrise, Locks. Everything shines brighter when I am with you.”

I LOVED their nicknames for each other Surfer Boy and Goldilocks.  So cute and perfect!

Come on Surfer Boy, let’s go ride this epic wave of life together”

I really enjoyed the ending and would love to see their story continued in future books.  I want to go back and read Wall of Trust.
