Loving Jovie is Peggy Dabney debut novel. She knocked it out of the park with her debut.
Leo and Jovie have been each other once in a lifetime love for over two years. Jovie feels they have the perfect life. Leo is her lover, best friend, soulmate and so much more. Her world comes crashing down when Leo breaks up with her for really no reason at all. Lots of hurtful words are said. Jovie is beyond devastated. How will she pick up the pieces and move on from Leo?
Leo’s family is involved in the mafia. Leo’s panics when he tries keep the peace with his father and keep Jovie safe. He feels his only choice is to breakup. He is heartbroken and lost after the breakup. He regrets it immediately. But Jovie’s safety is his number one concern.
“You’re on Jovie. I really want to get to know you. I know it’s too soon for you to get involved with anyone, but I hope you’ll give me a chance.”
Jovie takes a road trip with her best friend Kree to visit her family. While there she can’t keep her eyes or hands off Owen (Kree’s sexy brother). Jovie lets herself get swept up with Owen but she knows her heart is with Leo. But she still has an incredible week with Owen.
Jovie says goodbye to Owen but will see him in a few weeks.. Will she decide Leo is the man of her dreams and get past his harsh words or will she find love with Owen?

Loving Jovie takes you on a wild ride of love, heartbreak, suspense, death, and violence. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. You can’t put the book down till you finish it. There are so many twists and turns you really have no idea what’s going happen next.
I highly recommend Loving Jovie. Loved it was told from all the characters points of view. Totally made the book for me.
I can’t wait to read what Peggy Dabney has in store next. Looking forward to the second book in the series.
