DeVon Ricci is arrogant, dominant and at
the top of his game. THE top Hollywood agent, he knows what he wants and he won’t
stop at anything to get it. He uses women, using his position to get women and
they never last longer then a few weeks.
Krissy Jensen is moving, moving on from her
best friend who is going to live with her boyfriend, Krissy decides to apply
for jobs in LA. She’s not an actress, nor has any interest in being, but she is
a lawyer and interested in broadening her horizons, she interviews at DeVon’s
agency for a position under Mr Duncan.
She very quickly discovers that the Mirage
agency – or at least Mr Ricci, has some very strange interview techniques and
she finds it difficult to decide whether to take this amazing opportunity or
run back to safe shores.
This book did shock me in parts, DeVon is
not a likeable character and to be honest that doesn’t change throughout the
book, Krissy is more likeable and believable and shows some spirit when she
fights back just as dirty, it’s obvious that DeVon wants her and I found myself
disappointed that she might want him back.

the next instalment which is due in August.
